Abstract
Letter from Benjamin Dorr, Rector of Christ Church, to Moses Kempton, Warden of Christ Church, dated December 24, 1848, requesting that the offerings made at the Communion in Christ Church on Christmas Day be paid to the Treasurer of the Christmas Fund for the relief of disabled clergymen belonging to the diocese [p.1r]. The recto also bears a brief docket noting "1848 Dec 24, Rev B Dorr, Order payt Christmas Fund" [p.1r]. The verso bears a docket dated December 26, 1848, summarizing the rector's directions to pay the Christmas offerings to the Christmas Fund [p.1v].
