Abstract

In this letter dated 10 December 1812, Thomas Cumpston writes to William Meredith, Esq., concerning the fundraising effort for building an organ for St. Peter's Church. Cumpston explains that several gentlemen belonging to St. Peter's Church had called on him to learn what progress had been made in collecting money for the organ [Image 1]. He requests that Meredith state how much has been subscribed and what may probably be collected for that object, closing with respectful regards [Image 1].
